VYARA POPOVA
comes from Bulgaria and has been a dance addict since the late 1990s. She trained at ballroom dancing for several years until discovering salsa in 2000. She has followed many courses in the Netherlands and the UK and classes at international salsa congresses all over the world. She started teaching salsa when living in the UK.
She is proficient in LA, NY and Cuban styles of salsa and is also interested in other authentic dances which belong to the roots of modern salsa. Salsa is a life-long journey and provides material for discovering more about it every day which is why Vyara strives at constantly learning more about the history and roots of salsa, dance technique and music. She loves sharing her knowledge and passion for dancing and seeing happy people on the dance floor.
MARINO BRESCIANI
(a.k.a. DJ MaRiNo) comes from Italy, and has been dancing since 2005. While travelling and living all around Europe, Marino got to know more of the salsa culture in many countries, especially in Italy, France, Germany and now Estonia and Finland. Marino regularly teaches salsa at the 'Tartu Latin Club' in Tartu (Estonia), as well as giving classes at the Helsinki based 'Alppila Latin Dance Social'. Marino's great passion for salsa lead him to be one a very appreciated salsa DJs, been playing in many clubs in Helsinki, Tartu and also internationally.
